How long does a home inspection take?
Most homes take 3–4 hours on-site. Smaller homes and condos
can be quicker, and larger or older homes can take longer. After
that, I spend more time writing your report, so you get photos and
clear explanations, not a checklist.
Can I attend the inspection?
Yes, and I encourage it. Come for the whole inspection or join at
the end, and I’ll walk you through what I found.
When will I receive the report?
Reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours. Timing is
confirmed at scheduling.
What does a home inspection include?
A visual inspection of accessible systems and components based on
NC Home Inspector Licensure Board Standards of Practice, including
structure, roof, exterior, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and
interiors.
Do you inspect new construction homes?
Yes. I offer pre-drywall inspections before the walls close and
11-month warranty inspections before your builder warranty ends.
Do you perform repairs?
No. I do not perform repairs on inspected homes. Inspections are
independent and documentation-focused.
Are you licensed in North Carolina?
Yes.
Ievgen Dotsenko is a North Carolina licensed home inspector,
license #6471. Every inspection follows the NC Home Inspector
Licensure Board Standards of Practice. You can
verify the license
with the NC Home Inspector Licensure Board.
How do I schedule an inspection?
Use the Schedule Inspection button on this site to start the
booking process. Availability and final pricing are confirmed
before your appointment is finalized.
What areas do you serve?
The Triangle — Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wake
Forest, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Morrisville, Knightdale
and Clayton — and the Cape Fear Coast, including Wilmington,
Leland, Southport and Oak Island.
Do you inspect condos or townhomes?
Yes. Condos and townhomes can be inspected based on the accessible
systems and components within the unit and any accessible exterior
or roof areas that are part of the inspection scope.
